Stash Report - May 23, '10

Fabric in this week:      8.5 yd.
Fabric in YTD:     50.75 yds.

Fabric out this week:      0 yds.
Fabric out YTD:      48.5 yds.

Stash busted:   -2.25 yds.

If you would like to see how others are doing check out Judy's blog.
More fabric in that out. I bought backing and borders for my Jelly Girl and that was 40% off. I don't feel bad about being in the red this week. Hopefully that will change next week.
I did finish a project. It is the auction quilt for my bee. It is Jelly Girl. I didn't count any of the fabric in or out for this quilt. Mine will look just like this only bigger. This one used 1 jelly roll and mine will use 2. Almost everything for the auction quilt (and mine) was on sale. The jelly roll was half off, borders 40% off and the backing was 75% off. I think it should be called Bargain Jelly.

I quilted it using a panto I picked up at HMQS it is Splat by Anne Bright. I thought it was whimsical and I really didn't want to spend a whole lot of time since I also pieced it. Someone else will get the privilege of binding it.
It measures about 70" square:

This week my goal is to get MY Jelly Girl top put together.

I have been having a great time reading the blogs of people who are at Quilt Market. Wow. Lots of cool stuff coming out soon. I love seeing all that is posted. I guess I had better sew up my stuff so I can justify getting some of the new stuff.

Have a great week sewing.
